Jim Reinertson is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Technology Officer at Culture Organics LLC, leading the development of bio-based polymers derived from agricultural waste. He pioneered a patented process to produce polyvinyl alcohol from sugarcane leaf waste, creating a sustainable alternative to fossil-fuel-based plastics with no PFAS or microplastic residue.

Jim has extensive experience in organic agriculture and biological systems, working across diverse crop environments to identify innovative material solutions. His work focuses on scaling sustainable polymers that perform reliably while safely breaking down in soil, water, and compost.
