Jeanette Hanna is the Senior Advocacy and Sustainability Manager for Biopolymers, North America at BASF, where she has worked for 19 years. Over the past decade, she has focused on certified compostable and soil-biodegradable biopolymers, supporting composting programs and highlighting the role of these materials in food waste diversion.

Jeanette's advocacy work for sustainable plastics spans policy, standards and certifications, and stakeholder relations, with a particular focus on advancing practical, science-based solutions across North America.
