Jeanette Hanna is the senior advocacy and sustainability manager for biopolymers, North America at BASF, where she has spent 18 years driving environmental initiatives. For the past decade, she has focused on certified compostable and soil-biodegradable biopolymers, supporting their role in food waste diversion and composting programs.

Jeanette leads advocacy efforts centered on policy, standards, certifications, and stakeholder engagement. Her work continues to advance sustainable materials and their integration into circular waste management solutions across North America.
